An exceptional artistic event bringing together four of Libya’s most prominent contemporary artists, each presenting their own exhibition reflecting their unique style and creative vision. ALECSO Chair intends to host this major cultural event in the United States of America and acquire this exceptional art collection in support of Arab cultural diplomacy.

يُشكّل هذا المعرض الدولي حدثاً ثقافياً فريداً يجمع تحت سقف واحد أربعة معارض فنية منفصلة، لكل فنان منها هويته البصرية الخاصة وعنوانه المستقل الذي يعكس موضوعاته الفنية وأسلوبه الإبداعي المتميز.
تتنوع الأعمال بين التصوير الفوتوغرافي الفني الفلسفي، واللوحات الزيتية الواقعية، والأعمال التشكيلية المعاصرة — وتشترك جميعها في استلهامها من الموروث الثقافي الليبي الأصيل وتقديمه بلغة بصرية معاصرة للجمهور الأمريكي والعالمي.
This international exhibition forms a unique cultural event bringing together under one roof four separate art exhibitions, each with its own visual identity and independent title reflecting the artist’s themes and distinctive creative style.
The works range from philosophical fine art photography to realist oil paintings and contemporary visual art — all sharing inspiration from authentic Libyan cultural heritage and presenting it in a contemporary visual language to American and global audiences.

Dar Al-Funun Tripoli — The First Launch
أعمال هؤلاء الفنانين الأربعة سبق وأن عُرضت في دار الفنون بطرابلس، أعرق مؤسسة فنية في ليبيا، حيث استقطبت اهتمام الأوساط الثقافية والنقدية الليبية وحققت حضوراً لافتاً.
اليوم، يعتزم كرسي الألكسو أن يُعيد هذه الأعمال إلى الواجهة — هذه المرة على الأرض الأمريكية — ليُقدّم الفن الليبي لجمهور جديد ويُرسّخ حضور الثقافة العربية في المشهد الفني الأمريكي.
The works of these four artists were previously exhibited at Dar Al-Funun (House of Arts) in Tripoli, Libya’s most prestigious art institution, attracting significant attention from Libyan cultural and critical circles.
Today, ALECSO Chair intends to bring these works back to the forefront — this time on American soil — to present Libyan art to a new audience and establish the presence of Arab culture in the American art scene.

An exceptional philosophical photography exhibition exploring the stunning visual interplay between light and shadow in the alleys of Ghadames — the Libyan oasis inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Works created using advanced HDR photography technique that recreates what the human eye perceives in those unique architectural spaces.
معرض يُجسّد روح طرابلس القديمة والذاكرة الليبية عبر لوحات زيتية تجمع بين الواقعية والتعبيرية الحديثة. أعمال الريّاني تستحضر مشاهد من المدينة العتيقة، وأزقة غدامس، وتفاصيل الحياة اليومية الليبية — بأسلوب يمزج الدقة التشريحية بالحرارة الإنسانية.
An exhibition embodying the spirit of Old Tripoli and Libyan memory through oil paintings combining realism and modern expressionism. Al-Riyani’s works evoke scenes from the ancient city, Ghadames alleys, and details of Libyan daily life — in a style blending anatomical precision with human warmth.
معرض يُقدّم أسلوب الفزاني المعاصر الرصين الذي يتجاوز الموضوعات التقليدية نحو معالجات فكرية حديثة. من لوحته الشهيرة «مقبرة السيارات» — إحدى أجمل إنتاجات المدرسة الواقعية الليبية — إلى البورتريهات الإنسانية العالمية، يُوظّف الفزاني الألوان الزاهية لرسم مشاعر إنسانية عميقة.
An exhibition presenting El-Fazzani’s sober contemporary style that transcends traditional themes toward modern intellectual treatments. From his celebrated “Car Cemetery” — one of the finest productions of the Libyan realist school — to universal human portraits, El-Fazzani employs vibrant colors to paint deep human emotions.
معرض يحتفي بالتراث الليبي والعربي من خلال لوحات زيتية تتميز بالدقة المتناهية في التفاصيل والاستخدام الإبداعي للظل والضوء واللون. الخيول العربية الأصيلة، ومشاهد الحياة اليومية في طرابلس القديمة، وصانعو السروج — تشكّل معاً لوحة بصرية حيّة للهوية الليبية.
An exhibition celebrating Libyan and Arab heritage through oil paintings distinguished by meticulous attention to detail and creative use of shadow, light, and color. Arabian horses, scenes of daily life in Old Tripoli, and saddle makers — together forming a vivid visual portrait of Libyan identity.
