About the Project
يهدف هذا المشروع إلى إنتاج فيلم وثائقي علمي ومهني متكامل يُوثّق صناعة الزي الليبي التقليدي بكل أبعادها: المواد الخام، والأدوات، والتقنيات، والتنوع الإقليمي، والسياق الاجتماعي والثقافي.
يُعدّ الزي الليبي التقليدي من أبرز مكونات الهوية الثقافية الليبية، إذ يعكس تاريخاً عريقاً من التلاقح الحضاري بين الثقافات البربرية والعربية والإسلامية والمتوسطية. ومع تراجع الحرف التقليدية أمام ضغوط العولمة، بات التوثيق العلمي ضرورةً حضاريةً ملحّة.
This project aims to produce a comprehensive scientific and professional documentary film documenting Libyan traditional dress manufacturing in all its dimensions: raw materials, tools, techniques, regional diversity, and social and cultural context.
Libyan traditional dress is one of the most prominent components of Libyan cultural identity, reflecting a rich history of civilizational exchange between Berber, Arab, Islamic, and Mediterranean cultures. With traditional crafts declining under globalization pressures, scientific documentation has become a pressing civilizational necessity.
